In my soul,

There is a temple, a church,

a mosque, a shrine

For no specific name,

Just a place very divine.

fondness, love

I beg to serve.

Nothing less, nothing more, nothing else

Longing Meets

Upon the Bed of cold sand
How fair the sea shells lay

Calmer the night, lyrical the waves
In the vast solitude, retreating in the heart of coast

All day, all night
For longing peace, extends to my whole life

I walked for miles along the shore
Writing hopeful verses and thought some more

Beneath the roof of silver sky,
As the nature spills ornaments of peace

Muffled sounds of mind dissolve in the gush of waves
As shadows from the darkness are evanesced

And the cool breeze cuddles my skin
Embosomed by the gratification, my bleeding heart heals

As my heart comes on the wind's trail
My life is embellished with peace veil

I let a sigh of relief
As my yearning for solitary relieve meets

Devoted Love

It is heard, both sided love is perfect;

Her one sided unconditional love was perfection

It is believed, love hurts;

Only her soulmate's hardships are hurting

It is said, love is felt once and for all;

She feels as many times as her heart beats

It is judged, being in love is selfish;

To Refrain him from mourning on her death, 

she wishes to die after him

It is a rumour, we hate to love those who don't revert;

Being in love and staying in love is her enormous bliss.

It is assumed, expressing the love is most difficult;

She unleashed her soul to him, besides all the difficulties

It is inferred that such love fades with time;

Love sees no past, no future

If it was true, it lingers for whole lifetime

It is a fact, true love is divine;

Her devotion is divinity.

I AM CONTENT

I feel content

This life is short term,

I am content with every small thing it brings

I was ecstatic in school,

I feel content with working for living

I don't have three course meal,

I am content with supper, atleast I have something

I don't look as beautiful as I did,

I am content with my good health

I miss my friends,

I feel content with their seldom calls

I couldn't hold my dear one with me,

I am content with our memories

I cannot change bitter pieces of past,

I feel content with the truth of surviving it

I am unaware of what future has in store for me,

I feel content with my dreams.

Sustainable Development:- A New Paradigm

Our vices have outgrown our virtues,

Because nature casts no curfews.

Blessed with the riches by nature,

We have taken for granted our savior.

Economic development has become our main,

Development without care for environment has posed 

threats to the very existence of life itself.

Development and environment should go hand in hand.

Why to run tap when not using?

Did your basin ask you to, so as to cool itself?

Why to leave lights switched on in vacant room?

Is your room scared of dark?

Why to take vehicle for every small errand?

Your car won't get bored in garage, but your bicycle will.

Why to eradicate flora and fauna?

Their existence is backbone of yours.

Why to leave conservation part on others?

When we are equally active consumers.

Lets's all do our bit,

Not just debate and sit.

Our piece of inherited resources from ancestors is over,

We have borrowed much from our next generation.

Treat nature and its resources with sanctity,

To establish amity.

Let's make peace with past,

To prevent our eyes from glistening ghosts it cast.

Let's unbound the fragment of soul lured in bygone maze,

For we have fought ample blaze.

Let go the hands of those not desiring to stay,

Forcefully Holding them is tougher than their walking away.

Let's forgive ourselves for the deeds that went adverse,

For the thought behind was everyone's affluence, nothing to averse.

Let's be fair and provide second chance to all,

Yet never third chance after all.

Let's still put the belief in ourselves,

For if we don't, none will ever.

And manoeuvre this art, for harmony to everlast.

Why can't I fool me?

No one can see the smile I m faking,

All the memories lingering in me leaves me shaking.

All the known are unknown,

To bear all the anguish I am left alone.

I have hidden behind this wall most of my life,

I've managed so far, I've dealt with my strife.

The life I've portrayed,

Is envied by most and I am looked with hatred.

I pull down my veil to hide the scars,

When I sense approaching footsteps, I act smart.

My heart is slowly bleeding with the assault of betrayal,

Stabbed in my back, May be I am gullible.

My pretense is so perfect that no one suspects

I have made none to see, then why can't I fool me?

I can't define it,

Neither I can deny it.

People may call it love,

But it's much bigger than it.

The devotion of your soul,

Illuminate our days.

My dedication to your life,

Purifies my heart.

In my every good and bad times,

If there exists any after life,

An unexpected warmth from stranger,
Can heal some old wounds!!

An unexpected laughter with someone you just met,
Can uplift a dim soul!!

An unexpected care from someone you barely know,
Can comfort the restlessness!!

An unexpected knowing someone with no purpose,
Can tell that not everyone is wicked!!

A feeling of closeness can grow among strangers in only few seconds
And can last for whole life!!

Priceless treasures surrounded by gleam are hidden in deep dungeons,
That can be found with a mighty soul!!

A life dwelt in dimness, Will not always prevail in darkness!!

Solitude is independence,

Predominantly spent in repentance!

Is it not the moment when one's thoughts are 

 more of one's own,

As there is none to put the bars!

Solitude is bliss!

To soul, a beautiful kiss!

Solitude is valuable,

Not very gritty, but construable!

It may be a sanctuary or a prison,

A haven of repose or a place of punishment,

As we ourselves make it!

Take delight in privacy,

Perceive oneself to greater extent,

Lost Life

A cool night as any other,

Stars shining over all above!

A crew of 12 left for its job,

Serving 227 passengers!

Some to spend gala time,

While some returning from recreational climb!

Only if they knew their destination was death,

None shall have missed a proper goodbye!

Lost in a world of  ours,

Leaving loads of hearts scarred!

No sign of where they have gone,

No trail for seekers to unveil their hide!

The fate turned mysterious,

 Indeed it is furious!

With no evidence, the world is asked to

Assume they are dead!

"They may be lost, but not dead",

some hearts said!

The pleas and cry spread as epidemic,

But the hopes stayed epic!

Our hearts unite to pray peace to departed souls,

And strength to the loved ones of mass of 239 people on MH370!

"They may be lost, but can't be forgotten",

Our hearts say!

They are at better place now,

"WITH THE ALMIGHTY GOD"!

Deep Dark Forest

Deep Dark Forest,

A flawless kingdom of Night!

Some things unsaid in the silence,

some things unheard

alike woods being sawed!

Bark of the trees forming canopies,

Believed is monsters move between them,

undead atrocities and abominations!

Squealing of the insects,

Rustling of leaves,

Calmness worn by the trees,

And flickering of stars penetrating into the dark woods

stand still!

The deep dark forest

can cheer one's soul or deepen depression!

We are the reflection of our thoughts!

A slightest ray of light can be explored 

in darkest of times,

And then the light will

follow us!

But our confidence on ourselves is must!

Being Strong

There is no sin in falling apart in life,

Life is a mosaic,

By time, every bit will fall at its own place!!

Weeping does not symbolize meek,

A cup when fully filled shall spill the extra.

So does our mind,

Rants out the feeling!!

It's acceptable to take time,

Patience, time and will power nurture the soul!!

Keeping high expectations is absolutely fair,

Why to satisfy at less, when we deserve much more??

Mesmerizing Wedding

A mystical day,

dreamed by the love pair.

On a fine bright day,

at the end of the isle, stands her Man.

On a deck enhanced with white and pink lilies.

From the resplendent porch,

arrives the beautiful Bride.

Hand in hand with her father.

All the guests stand and turn to welcome the Bride.

The unnoticed Groom's eyes meet her's.

Her nervousness touches the sky

as she held her father's hand hard.

While she reaches the deck,

her hand is taken firmly by her Man.

And the love pair recite their own vows that ends with,

"No matter what, we'll be together, in sickness and health,

in riches and poor".

The Bride reaches her Man's ear and whispers,

"You may now kiss the Bride".

Their eternal soft kiss leaves every heart awe-inspiring

and every hand applauding.

 It's an extraordinary thing to meet someone who you can bare your soul to, who will accept you for what you are!!

I am a woman

worth treasuring

but not to be taken as possession.

Grown in a flower of love by nature

never to be poked with aggression.

I am at liberty.

Liberal Woman.

I ain't confined to the kitchen

but even if i am

The site is dealt with fire and knives.

Do not take me as the weaker sex of the society.

I am a warrior.

Brave Woman.

I go through all the odds

suppression, assault, downcast

My self respect is burnt alive.

Yet I am enchanted to turn the murk to gleam.

I am miraculous.

Phenomenal Woman.

That's me!!

I may look fragile

Nevertheless, my heart is mighty.

Bewitched with patience in abundance

Yet injustice is not tolerable.

I've got a voice.

Revolutionary Woman.

That's me!!

My scars are not the signs of my incapability

they narrate my story

leading to conclusion

"I am survivor till end".

My soul still embellished with

care, love, humanity and wisdom.

I rub my eyes to the morning sun, 

And I find your arms embracing me!!

With the feel of being loved zillion times,

I turn my head to see you shine!!

There you are, still in a deep slumber,

prayers for you my mouth murmurs!!

Your soul so pure and serene,

Within you I've dedicated myself keenly!!

I reach to your head and place a firm kiss,

Not to wake you up!!

A tear from my eye rolled down to cheek,

And you look at me,

I feel your hands on my cheek,

Erasing the sign of my creek!!

You embrace me tightly,

Your eyes assure me that my yearning has come to an end!!

And now I am eternally crowned with your love,

Unknowingly WE!!

Those smiles from the strangers,,

the simplest of gestures spread the joy!!

Laughs of the unknown children,,

brings sunshine to our heart and

keeps the glum away!!

Attention grabbed by the plight of beggars,,

this is the time when our humanity listen!!

We notice gloomy eyes of stray dogs,,

starving and left abused,,

leaves our soul bruised with adversity!!

An ambulance running down the lane,,

poor relatives murmuring prayers,,

silently our heart utters AMEN!!

At the road side, laborers sweat,,

makes us realize about their stress for debts!!

Across the lane, we see policemen,,

rendering services in abundance,,

fills our chest with pride!!

Not all the relations are framed 

by blood and destiny,,

some are put together by mankind !!

Unknowingly every soul unites in

one's joy and cry,,

this is the nature's law,,

we all are abide by!!
